The Tabernacle

Exodus 31:1-11

God commands our very best in terms of our time and talents.

When the Israelites were in the wilderness, God commanded them to build a tabernacle so that He could dwell in the midst of His people.  This foreshadowed the incarnation of Jesus.

GP Hastens Death of Patients out of Christian Compassion

There is currently much debate about the story of Dr Howard Martin, a retired Medical General Practitioner who recently told a newspaper that he had deliberately hastened the death of two patients by prescribing high dosage of painkillers.

Gaza Blockade or Good Samaritan

The ongoing debacle between Israel and Gaza shows no sign of ending.  Granted that Israel has eased the blockade – ever so slightly – and everyone should be thankful for this, but nobody outside Israel seems to think it is anywhere near enough.
